Clinic Instructor Openings

Vancouver College of Massage Therapy is hiring RMTs to instruct students in the school clinic and outreach locations while supervising patient appointments. If you’ve ever thought about teaching or giving back to the RMT community, this is your opportunity! Full time & part time positions are available.

VCMT will train instructors in how to communicate effectively, give appropriate feedback and create a safe learning environment for the students, so that all clinical instructors feel confident in their role!

Requirements

Successful candidates must be currently licensed RMT’s in good standing with CCHPBC and have a minimum 2,500 hours of clinical practice as an RMT. An ability to demonstrate entry level RMT massage techniques & assessment skills is necessary, along with a desire to help students succeed!

Classroom Instructor Openings

VCMT is in search of passionate instructors who are interested in advancing the registered massage therapy profession by fostering the growth and development of the next generation of practitioners.

If you are interested in teaching but have never taught a course before, a great stepping stone is to be a teaching assistant in one of our practical courses. In the classroom, you will help out by providing instruction and feedback to students and be a part of an interactive, caring and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

Successful candidates must be currently licensed RMT’s in good standing with CCHPBC and have a minimum 2,500 hours of clinical practice as an RMT to be a classroom instructor, and 2,000 hours of clinical practice to be a teacher’s assistant.
