Yaletown Massage Therapy is an established clinic in the heart of the Yaletown neighborhood, providing Registered Massage Therapy care since 1999. Yaletown Massage Therapy is located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, open 7 days a week, and is accessible by bus, train, bike, car, and walking. The clinic is located inside 1168 Hamilton Street (also accessible via Mainland Street) on the second floor, just steps away from the Yaletown SkyTrain Station (Canada Line). While there is no on-site parking, Yaletown has parkades available starting at $13.50 for the day near the clinic. Availability
We are looking to onboard an independent RMT contractor for both full-time and part-time permanent positions at Yaletown Massage Therapy, with an immediate start date. Currently, the
following days are available for your practice: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Job Description
As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for providing the daily rent rate for your treatment room with full-day access, or a prorated half-day rent rate, and receiving payment directly from your patients (massage prices can be found on our website here: https://www.yaletownrmt.ca/fees). If you’re set up with any extended health insurers, our front desk staff is able to direct bill for you!

Job Title: Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Location: Vancouver, BC (just off Commercial Drive on Grant Street)

About Us: We are looking for a like-minded individual to join our beautiful cooperative wellness space, conveniently located in East Vancouver at Grant Street and Commercial Drive in a commercially-zoned heritage home. We are registered acupuncturists and a TCM doctor operating our businesses independently in a shared clinic space. Our cooperative is based on providing a below market rent to practitioners – while encouraging each person to run their own business independently (keeping your own identity and brand of your business). This model is ideal for someone who has already built their practice and is looking for a new space, however new grads are welcome too!

Practitioner Responsibilities: You will have to have your own booking and payment system, marketing, tools for your own practice, website, professional and commercial general liability insurance. You will have full autonomy over your practice, and be responsible for running your own business. There is no reception in the clinic so you will have to do your own billing and administrative tasks. Each practitioner is responsible for the cleaning up of their treatment room and common-use areas after their shift.

Included in Rent: All linens (washer and dryer in suite), fully furnished treatment room with a hydraulic/manual tilt treatment table, beautifully furnished reception and waiting area, small kitchen for practitioner use – with countertop dishwasher, fridge, microwave, kettle, and espresso machine , bathroom (gender neutral) , tea/water for patients , patio and small garden, potential for hosting workshops.

Days available and Rent: There are no more than 2 practitioners working in our space at one time. Please note that there is stair access into the clinic. Full day and half day rentals are available. Half day rate is $85 and full day rate is $120. Unfortunately, there is no option for % split. Available days include: – Monday (half or full day) – Wednesday (half day – PM) – Friday (half day – PM) – Saturday (half or full day, or option for every other Saturday) – Sunday (half or full day, or option for every other Sunday)
