We are looking for 1-2 RMTs to help complete our team at Soar Wellness Clinic in Abbotsford, BC.
• We are an established clinic of 8+ years with several of our RMTs that have closed patient lists & we need some new colleagues to meet the demand of new patients.
• Also 2 of our RMTs are going on Maternity leave this year & we would like to support their patients in their care.
What we offer:
• Schedule flexibility in hours & days for you to build what works for you & your work life balance.
• Reasonable hourly rent (not by day or month) allowing you to take vacations, leaves of absence & sick days without rent.
• Our rent & cooperative environment is why our RMTs currently make a profit of 80% of treatment.

We’re a local clinic looking to build our team with either a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) or a Locum RMT. As
a RMT, you provide, maintain, rehabilitate, augment physical function, relieve pain, and promote the health and
wellness of all patients. You have a strong sense of pride in providing great service to your patients and you care
deeply about helping people live a healthy lifestyle.
How you support your patients:
– Assess soft tissue and joint pain.
– Treat and reduce physical dysfunction, injury, pain, disorders of soft tissue, and joints of the body by
providing physical body manipulation, mobilization, and other manual methods.
– Provide education on treatments, safe and effective exercises and body movement, pain management to
promote living a healthy lifestyle.
– Monitor progress and modify treatments when necessary.
– Provide evidence-based practices to support patients with their rehabilitation and recovery.
– Collaborate with fellow practitioners to ensure full support to patients health and wellness needs.
Requirements as a RMT:
– Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), in ‘Good Standing’, under the College of Complementary Health
Professionals of BC (CCHPBC).
– Knowledgeable of and complies with the CCHPBC’s Standards of Practice.
– Current City of Burnaby business license holder and/or has the ability to apply to obtain one.
– Minimum $2 million professional liability insurance.
– Physical ability to perform duties as required.
